Dr. Helen Achilleoudes
Dr. Helen Achilleoudes graduated from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She completed a two-year residency/post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at the Integrated Center for Child Development in Newton, Massachusetts. Dr. Achilleoudes has extensive training and experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents and adults in various clinical settings in Boston, MA. She has advanced specialized training in the areas of autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, learning disabilities, neurobehavioral disorders and complex psychiatric presentations. Dr. Achilleoudes is accepting referrals for infants/toddlers, children, adolescents and adults for psychological, psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations and consultations. She is a licensed psychologist in North Dakota and Massachusetts.
Dr. Brenda King
Dr. King graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Prior to becoming a psychologist she worked as an RN. She is licensed as a clinical psychologist in North Dakota and Minnesota. She provides assessment and individual psychotherapy services to individuals from childhood through adult years. Her training is in both CBT and psychodynamic therapy. She has training and experience with hypnosis and EMDR. Areas of interest include treatment of anxiety, mood disorder, trauma, behavior health and eating disorders.
Dr. Alison Tait
Alison Tait, Ph.D. has practiced psychology in Grand Forks for 18 years. She attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate degree in psychology and Florida State University for her PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in children. She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Child Psychology at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine Wichita. Dr. Tait sees children, adolescents and young adults ages 2 – 25 for individual therapy, family therapy and parent training. She is available to do psychological testing and assessment to aid in the diagnosis and treatment planning for difficulties such as ADHD and mood disorders.
Dr. Marty Witucki
Dr. Marty Witucki has been practicing psychology in Grand Forks since 1994.
He provides psychological services to children, adolescents and adults. Services include evaluations and therapy for individuals and families. Areas of treatment include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, parenting issues and adjustment disorders. Dr. Witucki consults with Pembina County and Upper Valley Special Education providing psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. He also provides mental health consultation for Grand Forks Head Start.
Dr. Jonathan Whalen
Jonathan Whalen, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist, working with adults and adolescents ages 16 and up. His treatment areas include depression, anxiety, ADHD evaluation, stress, PTSD, couples therapy, hypnosis, pain management, family issues, abuse issues, and bereavement. He also provides Psychological Testing of Adults and adolescents 13 and up.
Dr. Holly Wolf
Dr. Wolf graduated with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Dakota. She is a licensed psychologist who provides individual therapy for adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, women’s issues, stress management, behavioral medicine, divorce and other adjustment concerns. She also conducts psychological evaluations for individuals of all ages to determine learning disabilities, ADHD or other mental health concerns.
Dr. Kylee Heston
Dr. Kylee Heston graduated with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Dakota. She provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy for all ages. Her treatment areas include stress management, chronic illness, behavioral medicine, depression, anxiety, adjustment concerns, weight management, couples and family therapy, severe and persistent mental illness, and coping with victimization. Dr. Heston also provides psychological testing to aid in diagnostic clarification and treatment planning in a variety of psychological areas.
Tara Shirek, MSW, LICSW
Ms. Tara Shirek has practiced as a social worker since 1997. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Her training includes CBT, DBT, TF-CBT and Play Therapy. She provides play therapy for children, ages 4 – 12, as well as adolescent and adult invididual therapy. Her treatment areas include mental health assessment and treatment planning for mood disorders (depression, anxiety, adjustment); ADHD; trauma; child welfare, foster care and adoption; Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; emotional dysregulation issues; chronic mental illness; and parent/child conflict and family issues.
